This is a post I created on my caringbridge site back in December. I am including it on here as a refresher so I can give an update on my current situation. A lot has happened since December.

Hello again on the eve of another potentially big storm! 

Thank you all for your prayers and very kind messages. Last week my Mayo visit was OK. The scans showed some growth in all the tumors, but the radiation and medical oncologists are in agreement that they want to continue to hold off on any treatments. They said the areas that the tumors are in are not necessarily dangerous areas so it might be better for me to wait until they get bigger. They said every treatment has its own potential side effects or complications and they also don’t want to surgically remove them and turn me into Swiss cheese (their words, not mine :)) So, for now we wait. I have just a couple appointments down there next week and then go back for a new scan check in the beginning of March. In the meantime, I will be upping my vitamins and prayer and hopefully throw them for a loop with no tumor growth. Thanks for following along and for your concern and encouragement. It means so much to me.
